John Sokol is known nationally for
his hard work and dedication to the interests of various alternative
lifestyles. John’s background of 15 years in law enforcement – including over
four years in uniform for the Florida law enforcement community has given John
a unique perspective about the pitfalls of living a lifestyle outside of what
is usually considered average and normal.
For the past sixteen years, John has been active
in the Alternative Adult Lifestyle in Atlanta. In the spring of 2000, John was
invited to become a speaker and presenter for The National Coalition For Sexual

Sir Steele has been an admirer of

Gayton
A long-time resident of Atlanta , Ga. , Victoria
has been active in the leather community for 17 years. She joined NLA: Atlanta
in the early1990's, serving as Chair for 3 years, then as Secretary for another
three years. She was also a board member of the SouthEast LeatherFest Committee
for 7 years. During the mid-1990's, she was the first female presenter at
Spring in the South, sponsored by Atlanta S/M Solidarity, for whom she also
taught classes in caning, bondage and single-tailing. She received the Pantheon
of Leather Award for the Southeast Region in 1999, and the Jack Stice Memorial
Community Service Award in 2002. She has served as a judge for a variety of

Catherine Gross is a sex educator, consultant,

Servant's Retreat, an intensive weekend for those who serve, which focuses on

Mercury
Mercury has been open to the public lifestyle
for over 20 years and considers himself a student of BDSM cultures. He
currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee and has enjoyed many opportunities to
sample various local customs in his national and international travels, and
serves as an unofficial ambassador of "polite Southern society" to
those elsewhere. Mercury has also been afforded the opportunity to travel as a
regional presenter, having facilitated discussions for 12 different groups in 6
states, usually on topics involving the Dominant/submissive lifestyle that he

During the last few years he led the charge for the formation and continuing
execution of CPI -- a non-profit Nashville-based corporation whose sole mission
is "The Mark" -- a first-class education/social/play facility and

A Florida native (and there aren't many of those
around), Devin Wilson was born to be an artist and destined to become an
advocate for the body modification and kink cultures. A graduate of The School
for the Visual and Performing Arts in Jacksonville, he is also heavily involved
in the Leather and BD/SM culture. Having co-produced many events over the past
six years, most recently, he was the Erotic Art Exhibit Coordinator for the
Southeast Erotic Cultural Conference in 2006. Lastly, he had the pleasure and

Hawaii. An event designed to focus on the spiritual as well as the physical.

Devin is employed as a Structural Steel Designer

Ray Castro has been an active member of the

ARCHER
Leather, just the sound of the word gives a
sense of the sensual power of treated skins. As a teen Archer started working
with leather, the smell and feel of it had some primal effect on him. Even then
the power images of leather had a part in his sexual fantasies, but the images
of abuse held him back from exploring them. Leatherwork went by the wayside
when he graduated and then went to Marion Military Institute and earned a Commission
in the Army Reserve. His love of working with leather returned years later.

Bootblacking and leather care are Elegant’s
passions. She considers them services of love and an art form in which to

Shdwkitten
Shdwkitten is a bisexual switch. She began her journey in the lifestyle in 1999
with TAAG and has continued her voyage with CAPEX, Whippersnappers, Fantasm and
Frolicon. She has been an active volunteer behind the scenes at Fantasm,
Frolicon and CAPEX, and has given presentations at CAPEX and Frolicon. Her
kinky interests include cuttings, brandings, resistance play and primal play…
but mostly, she says, she just gets off on hurting Emrys. Emrys, her first
full-time pet, has been collared to Shdwkitten since February of 2005.
Emrys
Emrys, the loving pet of Shdwkitten, entered the lifestyle in 2002, and his
openness to experimentation and exhibitionist streak led to him being asked to
demo-bottom just 3 months after starting. Since then, he’s demo-bottomed for
presentations at CAPEX, CLOAK, Fantasm and Whippersnappers, and began giving
his own presentations at Frolicon ‘06. He’s also been an active volunteer at
CAPEX for years and is currently on the Board of Directors. In 2003 he was a
founding member of Torquemades, the Charlotte-based Interrogation Play group.
While there’s nothing wrong with a meat-n-potatoes flogging (and he admits to
being a pain slut), he’s primarily interested in the psychological aspects of
BDSM including submission, humiliation, role-playing, head-space, interrogation
and pet play. He has a puppy persona, an Irish wolfhound named Sebastian. Emrys
is also interested in art, mythology, philosophy and all things Celtic.
Russ
Brannen
Russ Brannen has been in the lifestyle for
nearly 20+ years, starting as a Leatherman in Atlanta, Ga. During his
experiences he has explored many of the BDSM Realms from mild to wild while
playing in both roles. Russ has a very strong opinion that Tops, Doms, Masters
and Daddy’s are not born, but are groomed through experience and time under the
guidance of others. Russ has both organized and led several gay leathermen
organizations, has been president of the Carolina Bear Lodge and is a life long
member of many of these clubs in the southeast. Russ and his partner Billy have
led discussion groups and taught several classes from flogging and percussion
to electro play for their local BDSM group SC-LOCK in Greenville SC.
Jeff P. has lived in the Atlanta area since
1999. Before that, he lived in New York City, where he came out into the BDSM
community after years of private practice. He has many interests in the world
of kink, but has focused primarily on his interest in rope bondage for the past
ten years.. He has presented for SC-LOCK, but he considers himself a student of
erotic ropework, not an expert, and he looks forward to learning from you as
you learn from him. Jeff likes rope bondage (especially suspension), and likes
to make fun of people who take themselves way too seriously. Caution: if you
have a “scene name” that came from Tolkien or Anne Rice books, you *will* be
mocked.
Heather
Heather is a 32-year-old versatile queer
leathergirl. She's been around for about 9 years, 6 1/2 of which have been
spent in the Atlanta area. Her skillsets are well-rounded, whether in topping,
bottoming, service, or service management. Heather has had the privilege of
belonging to her owner for the last 6 1/2 years, and for the last two years as
his slave. She is also a member of a large extended leather family, for which
she is deeply grateful.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors
of Whippersnappers, an Atlanta-based TNG group. She has presented for
Whippersnappers and SouthEast LeatherFest.
