OVERFLOW HOTEL NEWS!!!!!

And now the news you've been waiting for: The Hilton Atlanta NE is sold out on Saturday night. They still have rooms for Thursday, Friday and Sunday. We're working a waiting list, but in the mean time please allow me to introduce you to your overflow hotel, mere moments from the Hilton.....

We have a block room rate of $89 a night. Currently we have thirty rooms blocked but that is flexible if we need more. Just give them the code Frolicon when you call their front desk number to get the special rate and get in the block.

We will also be offering on the hour and hopefully on the half hour shuttle service between hotels during the day at to at least midnight. We're working on the later hours.

TRAVELING SOUTH ON I-85: Exit I-85 at Jimmy Carter Blvd (exit 99). Turn Right off the exit. Continue to Peachtree Industrial Blvd & turn right. At 2nd traffic light, make a U-turn - hotel is on your right side.

Amenities

Guest Rooms: Beautifully newly renovated rooms each including two seperate phone lines, 25'' television with endless movies, desk, ergonomic desk chair, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Guest rooms now feature High Speed Internet Access for a nominal fee. There are nearly 120 doubles and 120 kings available and one smoking floor

Suites: (Please email Beth for availability) Thirty-four beautifully decorated suites. 29 of which are our Junior Suites (50% larger than our standard rooms, featuring bay windows & seating area). Three of the remaining suites are our One Bedroom VIP Suite. The final two are our Deluxe suites with murphy bed, seating area & conference table (available connecting rooms on either side of the parlor).

Executive Rooms: (Please email Beth for availability) Beautiful newly renovated rooms on our 10th floor. Each room has all standard amenities as well as plush bathroom robes & complimentary bottled water. Our executive level guests enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres & breakfast in our exclusive 10th floor lounge. Guest rooms now feature High Speed Internet Access for a nominal fee.

If you want a party room(s) please contact Beth to arrange for hand room assignment. 6 sets of double/king/king connectors

24 sets of double/jr suite connectors (jr suites are about 15% larger than a regular room)

9 sets of double/king connectors (right across from the d/k/k connectors)

3 VIP suites (basically a living room with a separate king bedroom) 1 is already booked.

There is one parlor with connecting kings and doubles. They are booked for Convention events.

Floor two is the smoking floor. There is NO guarantee of receiving a smoking room. The hotel will do its best to honor smoking requests.

Regular rooms are $89 a night, Junior Suites are $109, VIP suites are $200.

Any other rooms which have any smoking whatsoever in them, the hotel will charge the person who reserves the room $250 if they smell smoke real or residue or find evidence of smoking in the room. They are dead serious about this!!!!

There is no Hospitality Floor as such as the connectors are spread throughout the floors.

If you want to throw a party, or your group wants connecting rooms, please, please, please, after you make your reservations, contact me (beth@frolicon.com) with your name, confirmation numbers, number and type of room reserved, a description of what you want,and contact information, so I can try to arrange the proper room types and configurations for you. Priority will be given to those who will be participating in the Concoction Contest and Hospitality Battles.

Even if you aren't throwing a party, the hotel will sell out. Please make your reservations now. You can make your reservations through the link on the Frolicon website or call the hotel directly at 770-447-4747. Please tell them you are with Frolicon to get the rate, and so they won't tell you that they are filled up as we have reserved the entire hotel for Friday and Saturday nights.
